About

The “Workshop on the History and Memory of National Socialist Camps and Extermination Sites” has been organized annually by university graduates for university graduates since 1994. Every year, it takes place at a different location  related to National Socialist camps and mass extermination sites. The program consists of excursions and presentations given by young graduates on current research topics related to this theme. A collective volume with articles on the lectures is published after each workshop. The aim of the workshop is to give young graduates the chance to discuss their work in a friendly atmosphere, to enable networking of university graduates from different countries and disciplines and to promote research on marginalized topics. The 24th Workshop will take place in Salzburg, Austria. The call for papers will be published in late summer or early fall. You can also find updates on past worskhops and the resulting publications on this website.
